Bristol Bites Blog

Want to be featured in the blog?

The aim of this blog is to share information on what’s happening in the world of food and drink in Bristol. I’m aiming to cover a wide variety of topics that may be of interest, which have so far including a diverse selection of posts on such topics as:

– Local food and drink festivals

– Profiles of local food/drink-related companies

– Information on markets, tasting sessions and other events

– Restaurant reviews

– Cookery courses

– Cookery book reviews

– Shop and restaurant launches

– Recipe challenges

If you’re a local business who would like to share something that may be of interest, a keen Bristol-based foodie who has something you’d like to shout about, a PR agency representing a Bristolian company or anyone else who has an idea that they think Bristol needs to know about, then drop me an email at bristolbites@googlemail.com 🙂

Really like the blogs , and great to see people trying to do stuff that helps Bristol. We are newly launched in Bristol http://www.eatsy.co.uk and putting the hard work in for Free to try to get all restaurants online to make things better for everyone. Hard work but we will get there.
Keep up the excellent work

Paul

Hi Paul, I’ve just registered with your site and it looks fantastic! There have been a fair few times that I’ve tried to Google a restaurant suggestion so that I can look at the menu, but lack of website means that we’ve chosen somewhere else instead. I’ll be checking back regularly 🙂

Thanks , we are working hard on it at the moment and trying to add more and more restaurants and facilties to the site to make it better. Hopefully people in Bristol will continue to support us and be patient while we get it where it needs to be 🙂
Any suggestions please feel free to get in touch

I shall be making use of your blog on my next visit to Bristol (and if you visit Devon and Cornwall, make use of mine!.) Keep up the good work – your layout is fresh and easy to read – a reminder that i must ‘tidy up’ my look.

Hi Kate – I’m planning on heading down to Devon at some point over the next few months, as I have family in Torquay and Paignton, so I’ll definitely be using your blog for planning purposes!

Hi Em,
Thanks for your msg. If you happen to be down in this neck of the woods in Jan – we are having a SW Food Bloggers meeting in Exeter on 8 Jan – five of us confirmed so far. Chance to put faces to names and share tips and experiences. You’d be v welcome.

Kate

Hi Emily

A friend of mine, who says she knows you, Ceema McDowell, suggested I drop you a line to tell you about a ‘chocolate tasting’ charitable networking event I’m hosting on Monday 16th May at Bocabar.
See: http://networking-taster.eventbrite.com

I would be happy to send you the flyer, would be more than happy for you to consider yourself formally invited, and would be delighted if you included us in a blog feature!

Many thanks
Ryan

Hello Ryan – yes, I work with Ceema! Thank you very much for this – if you could send the flyer to emily@bristolbites.co.uk, that would be fantastic!
