Turkish venue Oz Restaurant is very much proof that you shouldn’t take things at face value.  The building’s previous incarnation was as a chip shop, and it remains nestled amongst burger and kebab shops on the Triangle. With a very unassuming exterior, it’s not often that you walk past and see the place heaving with customers…if you even notice it at all. As Turkish is one of my favourite types of cuisine, and with the restaurant already having been recommended to me, buying a voucher for North Street’s Caffe Sazz when the voucher appeared on Groupon was a no-brainer. “A thirteen-dish mezze taster menu for two plus two cocktails or soft drinks, Turkish dessert and coffee or apple tea” for just £12.40 instead of £30.95 – a bargain… Read the rest of this entry »
