October 11-17th is National Chocolate Week, described on the official website as “a time of pure indulgence involving the country’s best chocolatiers and chocolate shops holding events all over the UK.”

This week will see chocolatiers, restaurants, hotels, department stores and a range of other companies hosting events to celebrate a product that we Brits eat around 660,900 of per year…that’s an average of a massive 11kg per person!
