Posted on: July 31, 2011

On Friday, August 19th, the Bishopston Supper Club and the Bristol Cider Shop will be joining forces to host a cider-themed evening, demonstrating some fantastic food and cider pairings. Spaces are limited, so read on for the menu and details of how to book your place…

The evening begins at 7.30pm, and costs £40 per head, all-inclusive – you’ll need to pay £10 in advance to Bristol Cider Shop, and the remaining £30 on the night. Drinks will be provided with the food, but as with Danielle’s other supper club evenings, you’re more than welcome to bring more should you wish!

The menu – both food and cider – for the evening reads as follows…

Arrival drink and nibbles – Butford Organics ‘Aurora’ bottle fermented perry

Chicken liver and Somerset Cider Brandy paté, shallot marmalade – Lyne Down Kingston Black cider

Herring marinated in Oliver’s perry vinegar, new potato salad – Oliver’s Three Counties perry

Wild rabbit and cider stew, mustard mash and greens – Heck’s Farmhouse cider

Blueberry and Slider jelly, coriander seed ice cream – Bramley & Gage Slider
